I used this when I wrote different kinds of poems with the whole class. Here is one of my poems
Recipe for a foxacle
Take a tail that slithers like a snake
A head as bright as fire
A body as light as a feather
Add a pair of wings as white as angels
A coat of heat sensitive fur changing feathers
A snout pointed like a petimid
Decorate with eyes as bright as the sun
Teeth as white as paper
Caws as sharp as a knife
Stir in breath as hot as fire
Sculpt into a fox like shape
Put it in a very cold freezer for 100 years
You now have a foxacle
Cool poem I see u used a similie.
ReplyDeleteI like your writing it's very good.
ReplyDeleteWhat's your favourite sentence?
Maybe next time you could show your working in your book.
Thanks Bridget my favourite sentence was probably the third one take a body as light as a feather because how are you going to find a body as light as a feather it's almost impossible it could happen in your dreams but you wouldn't find a body as light as feathers in many other places
